SVE is a SME founded in 1950 and producing flexible packaging films for the food industry. SVE is one of the leading providers of advanced packaging solutions in central Europe. Focus of the company is to produce top-quality products as well as customized printing solutions. Being proud of its flexibility and based on the equipment, SVE covers all production processes (extrusion, printing, lamination and confection) and is able to deliver customized solutions.
As a packaging producing company, SVE has only links to national food related institutions like the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences. For the packaging sector, SVE is cooperating with the OFI. SVE has staff of 110 employees.

Main roles/competences

Based on the results out of the packaging characterization, SVE tries to develop suitable vacuum packaging materials for the processing. The SME will mainly be involved in identifying the best suitable packaging material for shock wave application and will provide packaging material for shock wave treatment.
